Accessibility

Best of Perth Tours willl always strive to create an environment that is inclusive and welcoming for guests of varying abilities. However it is important to note as the nature of each tour can vary, if you or anyone you are travelling with has accessibility requirements it is important to note the below information to see if we are able to cater to your needs. The following is a general guide to assist you in making an informed decision when choosing your tour company here in Perth.

Perth Tours Accessibility Mobility

Limited Mobility

Vehicles used on our public tour offerings are not fitted with wheelchair lifts or ramps. Wheelchairs that can be folded for transportation can be accommodated with advanced notice, however guests will still require the ability to enter and exit the vehicle with the access provided. Extra support and assistance may be able to be offered on our public tours. Please check with us first before booking online to ensure there will be space for your mobility aids. If anyone in your booking has limited mobility (including issues with walking or stairs), we ask that you please include this information in the booking notes section of the online booking form or email us prior to the tour. This will enable us to best cater to the needs of all guests on the day. All venues that we visit have accessible entrances and toilets. Adequate space is provided for guests to bring foldable prams for children on our tours and child seats are also provided upon request.

Low Vision or Hearing

All information is delivered live, in person, in plain English. A microphone is used to communicate information throughout the tour in all vehicle transportation. Whilst your Tour Guide will be able to make use of technology where possible to provide audio to text translation, unfortunately we are unable to provide tour information in other languages. If anyone in your booking has vision or hearing impairments, we ask that you please include this information in the booking notes section of the online booking form, or email us prior to the tour. This will enable us to best cater to the needs of all guests on the day.

The venues we visit may not have exclusively nut-free or gluten free kitchens. Please make note of any food allergies and/or dietary requirements at the time of booking, and if these are unable to be met we will contact you prior to the tour to discuss options. Sensory Sensitivities

Whilst we strive to provide exclusive experiences with ambience that is suitable for most guests on our public tours, we encourage guests with any sensory sensitivities such as noise, lighting or any general concerns to contact us to discuss prior to booking. People with non-visible disabilities such as chronic health conditions, diabetes, epilepsy, chronic pain and respiratory conditions are encouraged to include this information in the booking notes section of the online booking form, or email us prior to the tour. This will not only enable us to best cater to your needs on the day, but also to provide support should we encounter an emergency situation.

Please let us know! We will do our best to accommodate.

For guests who have specific or higher need for support, organising a private tour may potentially be an alternative option for you so that we can best tailor a tour to your specific needs and ensure you have the best experience possible. If you, or anyone in your group has accessibility needs, we encourage you to please contact us to discuss the suitability of each tour. To support you in making informed travel decisions to suit your individual needs, the following Accessibility Report has been prepared for Best of Perth Tours by the Australian Tourism Industry Council (ATIC).
